School of mothers
Young Roma mothers participate in the “Mothers’ School” Program, which aims to empower women with difficulty raising and educating their children, their health, managing domestic violence situations, assertive communication skills, and problem-solving.
The mothers’ school focuses on parenting education, prevention of domestic violence, and prevention of family and school abandonment, as appropriate, adapting the content to the concrete needs of abused mothers, with the participation of a psychologist. In parallel, children participate in non-formal educational activities.
