Working meeting within the project “Social inclusion and empowerment of Roma in Satu Mare County”
On Tuesday, 21th of June, 2022, a working meeting took place at the County Council within the project “Social inclusion and empowerment of Roma in Satu Mare County”. At the meeting was discussed the actual stage of implementation of the project and the participants established the activities to be implemented in the next period. The partnership agreement was also resigned and, thus, the communes of Andrid, Dorolț, Lazuri, Păulești, Porumbești, Santău and Socond became partners in the project. The project aims to increase the inclusion and empowerment of Roma in Satu Mare County, by providing integrated services for 1300 people from vulnerable families (including 1250 Roma) and by increasing the capacity of local public authorities in 10 Satu Mare communities to act effectively for their social inclusion. The project is funded by the Program “Local Development, Poverty Reduction and Increasing Roma Inclusion”, EEA and Norwegian Grants 2014-2021, the call for projects “Increasing Roma Inclusion and Empowerment” and by the Government of Romania. The total eligible value of the project is RON 4,414,864.62, of which RON 3,752,634.93 is EEA and Norwegian Grants and RON 662,229.69 is public co-financing.
